Salesboom.com was initially self-funded and seeking Venture Capital in 2003, with plans for going public. However, these plans were scrapped as we quickly became a customer-funded, private software company. "We felt that venture capitalists, if involved, would have taken the company out of business or sold it, instead of realizing the long-term vision. They simply did not understand the type of innovation we were after", said Rami Hamodah, President and Co-founder of Salesboom.com. “We had a vision of disrupting Enterprise Software, and we knew this would take years, so we just got to work building it.”
